BUILDING SOCIAL IMPACT |

The UB School of Law's Journal of Land and Development presents its spring symposium, "Building Social Impact" on Tuesday, April 19. Panelists will discuss the role of nonprofits and community and private developers in bringing about social change through the built environment. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m., and the symposium begins at 6:15 p.m. Learn more.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE PITCH COMPETITION

Seven UB students and alumni have been selected as finalists in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation's fourth annual "Rise to the Challenge" Pitch Competition, an opportunity to show off new ideas and concepts for businesses before an audience of consumers and entrepreneurial experts. The event takes place on Thursday, April 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in UB's Turner Learning Commons TownHall. The event is free and open to the public; an R.S.V.P. is required.
