SPRING HAPPY HOUR FEAT. THE DEANS AS GUEST BARTENDERS

BUILDING SOCIAL IMPACT  
 The UB School of Law's Journal of Land and Development presents its spring symposium, "Building Social Impact" on Tuesday, April 19. Panelists will discuss the role of nonprofits and community and private developers in bringing about social change through the built environment. The reception begins at 5:30 p.m., and the symposium begins at 6:15 p.m. Learn more.
RISE TO THE CHALLENGE PITCH COMPETITION
 
Seven UB students and alumni have been selected as finalists in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation's fourth annual "Rise to the Challenge" Pitch Competition, an opportunity to show off new ideas and concepts for businesses before an audience of consumers and entrepreneurial experts. The event takes place on Thursday, April 21 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in UB's Turner Learning Commons Town
Hall. The event is free and open to the public; an R.S.V.P. is required.

Did you know that April is National Pet Month? Our Alumni Insurance Program partner, Meyer and Associates, offers pet insurance to keep your furry friends protected! Learn more about pet insurance as well as the many other products offered such life, long term care, and travel insurance.

COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY  

UB's Community Service Day takes place on Friday, April 22. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends will visit locations across the city, working toward a cleaner, greener Baltimore. There is still time to sign up. Learn more and get involved!
